ROLE

Senior Art Director
for WTC agency

project

Working on the Nintendo of America account during my time as Sr. Art Director at We The Collective was a dream come true. This was a fast-paced environment, working alongside an incredible team, outputting high-visibility deliverables for an iconic brand. My role focused primarily on digital advertising, YouTube content creation, and out-of-home brand affinity.

Two large banners hanging in a shopping mall featuring characters from the video game "The Legend of Zelda". The left banner shows Link, the hero, holding a bow and sword, while the right banner shows Princess Zelda. Both banners display the Nintendo logo at the bottom.

My primary role was working closely with a writer and mograph artist to produce digital ads for game launches and other Nintendo products.

Our mission was to bring the IP’s style guide to life using graphic styles, transitions, and animation – usually starting with a 9:16, 30 second spot and cutting down shorter versions across different aspect ratios ands audiences.

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door - Nintendo Switch

I absolutely love designing for out-of-home. Whether its a vehicle wrap, a billboard, or a takeover – especially working with iconic IP like this.

Here’s a small selection of some of the YouTube videos I worked on for the Nintendo Play channel.

My role was to concept the video story with the writer, make style frames, story boards, and then collaborate closely with the mograph team to produce. Lastly, and oddly my favourite part, the thumbnail design!
